Scoring Rules
The calculator follows standard ten-pin bowling rules:
- Each game consists of ten frames
- In each frame, you have two chances to knock down all ten pins
- A strike (all pins knocked down on the first roll) is marked with an "X"
- A spare (all pins knocked down on the second roll) is marked with a "/"
- The score for a frame is the total pins knocked down plus bonuses for strikes and spares
- A strike earns 10 points plus the value of your next two rolls
- A spare earns 10 points plus the value of your next roll
- The 10th frame allows up to three rolls if you bowl a strike or spare
Tips for Using the Calculator
- You can click on any frame to edit it at any time
- Use the "Reset Game" button to start a new game with the same players
- Toggle the player management section to add or remove players mid-game
- Scores are calculated in real-time as you enter each roll
